TEACHING FELLOW PROGRAM / LEADERSHIP EDUCATOR'S BOOTCAMP

August

The Leadership Educator's Bootcamp is an intensive cohort-based experiential workshop series that builds graduate students skills to teach leadership in higher education.

The bootcamp covers not only the university policy and professional ethics training grad students need to know as teaching assistants, but also the teaching skills and strategies that needed to build their students leadership capacity, both individually and as a group. Sessions include facilitating discussion, self v role, authority in the classroom, improv in the classroom, and feedback v coaching. There is a significant focus on team building and reflection to ensure the Fellows can function as a cohesive instructional team, modelling effective leadership and followership for their students.
